01 · Overview

Product details

A daily oral protocol formulated around ten actives most consistently referenced in the published nutritional literature on hair.

The formulation is built across four contributors to follicle and hair-fibre health: lipophilic botanicals, structural amino acids, an antioxidant complex, and the minerals selected for the maintenance of normal hair.

HR01.1 is intended as a daily protocol taken across at least three months. Hair grows on its own biological clock, and the response to nutritional input is measured over months rather than weeks.

02 · Key Ingredients

Pumpkin Seed Oil

A cold-pressed botanical oil investigated in the published literature on androgen-related hair concerns.

Saw Palmetto

A botanical extract widely investigated in androgen-related research.

Tocotrienol Complex

Studied members of the vitamin E family. Investigated specifically for hair in an 8-month clinical trial.

Ashwagandha

A standardised root extract widely investigated in modern clinical research on stress-response systems.

03 · How to take

i. Four capsules, once daily.

ii. Take with your first meal of the day.

iii. Pair with some dietary fat (eggs, avocado, dairy, nuts, olive oil) to support absorption.

iv. Drink a full glass of water alongside.

v. Take consistently for at least three months before assessing.

Considerations

Consistency matters more than any single dose.

If you miss a day, resume the next morning. Do not double up.

Check cumulative daily intake if you take other supplements with Vitamin D3, Zinc, or Selenium.

04 · Safety & Cautions

For adults aged 18 and over.

Not suitable if you are

i. Pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

ii. Living with an autoimmune condition.

iii. Living with a thyroid disorder.

iv. Living with a liver condition.

v. Under 18.

Consult a healthcare professional before use if you take

i. Anticoagulants or blood-thinning medication.

ii. Blood pressure medication.

iii. Thyroid medication.

iv. Diabetes medication.

vi. Oral contraceptives.

Considerations

Three actives have safe upper intake limits set by UK guidance: Vitamin D3, Zinc, and Selenium. The doses in HR01.1 are within safe ranges when taken alone.

Check cumulative daily intake if you take a multivitamin or any supplement containing these nutrients.

Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements should not replace a varied diet and healthy lifestyle.

Discontinue use if any unusual reaction occurs. Keep out of reach of young children.

05 · Frequently asked questions

How long should I take HR01.1 before assessing my response?

Hair grows on its own biological clock. Each follicle cycles through phases of growth, transition, and rest, and a hair shaft grows roughly 1 cm per month during its active phase. New hairs only become visible above the scalp once the previous hair has shed and the new one has grown out, a process that typically takes three months or longer.

For this reason, nutritional protocols are evaluated over months, not weeks. We recommend taking HR01.1 consistently for at least three months before assessing your response, and ideally six months for a fuller picture.

Why four capsules?

Each capsule is the largest swallowable format in standard supplement manufacture. Splitting the daily dose across four of them is what allows the formulation to deliver every active at the dose specified.

A single capsule could not carry the total mass. Eight capsules would compromise daily compliance. Four is the protocol that holds full doses without asking too much of the routine.

Who is HR01.1 not for?

HR01.1 is intended for adults only.

It is not suitable during pregnancy, while planning pregnancy, or while breastfeeding. It is also not suitable for individuals with autoimmune conditions, thyroid disorders, or liver conditions.

If you take prescription medication particularly anticoagulants, blood pressure medication, thyroid medication, diabetes medication, sedatives, or oral contraceptives, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.

The full list of contraindications is on the label.

How is HR01.1 different from a generic hair supplement?

Three things.

First, full disclosure. Every active is named and dosed on the label. No proprietary blends. No undisclosed quantities.

Second, doses held to the published literature. Where an active has nutritional research behind it, the dose in HR01.1 reflects that research and not a fraction of it.

Third, the formulation is a specification. We document what's in it and why each active is at the dose stated. The full rationale is on the methodology page.

What if I'm taking other supplements?

Three of the actives in HR01.1 (Vitamin D3, Zinc, and Selenium) have safe upper intake limits set by UK guidance.

If you take other supplements containing these nutrients (a multivitamin, a separate vitamin D supplement, zinc lozenges during cold season, etc.), check the cumulative daily intake to stay within recommended upper limits.

The doses in HR01.1 are within the safe range when taken alone.

What happens when the formulation is updated?

Reformulation is the default, not the exception. When the published evidence on an active or a dose moves, the formulation moves with it.

Subscription customers receive each new revision as it's released. Each revision is logged with the date and the change.
